The Must Visits in Bali:

  • Kintamani Volcano(Mount Batur)
  • Pura Taman Saraswati
  • Uluwatu Temple & experience The Kecak Dance
  • Tanah Lot Temple
  • Ulun Danu Temple
  • Rice Terraces(Paddy Fields)
  • Black Sand Beach
  • Kuta Beach

Kintamani Volcano:

Kintamani is a village in Mount Batur region in Bali which still has an active Volcano. It would take around 1.45 hrs  for people who would be travelling from Kuta and 45mins from Ubud which can be easily explored for a day trip. We just went in a café around the corner and gazed the stunning view sipping Luwak Coffee and Hot Chocolate. You can make your own choice.

Pura Taman Saraswati Temple:

You can plan your evenings, visiting this Balinese Hindu temple in Ubud overviewing a beautiful Lotus pond. Right outside the temple you will find a complete different world which has amazing clubs with hip bars and eatery joints. It’s a absolutely a feet tapping environment at night. A perfect place for club hoppers!! Go chill!!

Uluwatu Temple:

This temple is located in South Kuta(entry ticket 2$). Once you reach the gate make sure to collect the wrap-around which the temple management provides before entering. Please be aware of the Macaque monkeys as this temple is inhabited by thousands of them. They may completely act notorious for snatching your belongings be it glares, purse or other handy valuables. But interesting fact is those monkeys over the years have learned bartering behaviour in return for fruits and eatables. Later in the evening you can witness Kecak dance which is performed in this temple on the cliff side under open sky which starts around 6pm. View the beautiful sunset at the background of the performance and end your day.

Tanah Lot Temple:

We highly recommend you all to must visit this temple(Entry fee 4$) which holds the post card picture. This temple is structured in a large off shore rock 100 metres away on the sea where entry to the temple is not accessible to the tourists.

Ulun Danu Temple or Pura Bratan Temple:

Ulan Danu is one of the stunning Balinese temple which is located at the edge of Lake Bratan and a highly recommended place in Bali. Here in this temple you can absolutely witness the gaga internet photo of Bali with a gorgeous multi-layered hatched roof with the picture perfect background.

Black Sand & Kuta Beach:

We found these beaches very unique in itself which extends to the South West part from Kuta. You can find many black sand beaches in Bali. Interestingly, the black sands have originated from the lava which hits the coast converting it to a visual delight.

Where We Stayed:

This island offers a variety of stay across the city depending on your budget and preferences. From hostels to lavish villas at a great deal. For a pocket friendly alternative, we would recommend checking out Airbnb properties which are absolutely gorgeous.

Riju & me had spent around 7 nights in this paradise island and shared some of our best time together. We romanced to the moon and never wanted to come back.  In our initial days we checked in to Kuta Central Park Hotel. It’s a beautifully decorated hotel with great hospitality and stunning buffet display. Do check.

For the remaining nights we switched to Kuta Paradiso Hotel for a change which was stunning in all features.

Enjoy Meals in the Paddy Field(Ubud):

Balinese cuisine can be the best, one can try – less of spices and more of flavours. The mouth-watering traditional dishes are Nasi Gorang(Fried Rice), Mie Gorang(Noddle/Spaghetti), Satays which we recommend and are must try. Even you can find exotic fruits in abundance and variety. Also we had one of the best coconut ice creams, it is something legendary. Thank us in comments!!
