Zanzibar is a travelers paradise, be it for backpackers, with friends or families. This island destination has exactly each and every style of properties one can look for, be it budget friendly to the most luxurious ones. Here you would find accommodations which even starts at around $20/night and that’s so great. We chose The Zanzibari Hotel after investing hours on sampling over the internet and here’s a quick overview of our stay & experience with this gorgeous property. Welcome : Zanzibar Hotels
We landed in Zanzibar stone town and directly headed towards Nungwi, which is like an hour drive. Airport to Nungwi one way charges are 40$ in a private car. You can contact Suma +255654341465. Prior to reaching we really didn’t know that the color of the water there is so heavenly. But on getting there, we fell in love with this property. It is one of the most beautiful beach fronted hotels we’ve ever stayed at, which is surrounded by sparkling turquoise waters.
Once our car reached the entrance, we were escorted to the lobby where our temperatures were measured and hands were sanitized abiding by the covid protocol. Later and we were offered coconut water while the check-in process was done, and that felt so refreshing after the tiring journey. By the time we finished our drink we were allotted to their newly launched ‘love shack’ villa. Thanks to the team who has upgraded our room making us feel so privileged and special. Our luggage’s were carted to our rooms by the smiling Masai’s who also briefed us about the timing and activities available.
Rooms : Zanzibar Hotel
Our room ensured great views. It was definitely love at first sight from inside and out. There are a variety of rooms, but we suggest opting for a love shack villa for a truly memorable holiday.
Each villa comes equipped with a double bed, a lounging area, a spacious open bathroom & toiletries, overlooking the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean where we spent several hours watching sunrises & sunsets which was treat to the eyes. Please note the love shacks doesn’t have A/Cs and also you won’t feel the need of it. Rooms are pretty breezy. Also if you wish you can also book the private villas which comes with a private pool too. However the garden facing rooms has A/c.
Oh ! Yes it also has a high speed wi-fi, so go fill up your Instagram stories and feed!
This hotel is absolutely in a perfect location. If you wish to spend few days in a quite paradise that definitely give it a thought. They have their private beach which is not at all crowded and which is just 2min walk from the rooms.
Dining : Zanzibar Hotels
The dinning is attached to the lobby which has beautiful ocean view. The lobby and dining area has a rustic and vintage decors all over. What drew our attention was a Dhow boat which was transfigured into a bar which looked so flaunting.
Buffet breakfast (we loved the pancakes) and dinners offers a well-curated menu and wine list, which you would really enjoy and relish at the same time.
Amenities and Activities
The hotel also offers amenities like pool and tranquil spa facility. There is one large swimming pool and three spa pools which overlooks the ocean. The Ocean view Bar is perfect for light lunch or evening cocktails which is by the pool. So grab a seat with a glass of wine or go for a quick dip and detach from the world.
On request the management can also arrange for water activities and also Dhow boat ride during the sunset which should not be missed for sure.
