Renting an Airbnb has become one of our favorite way to explore around the Magical Kenya. It also seems very economical and has helped us a lot to get a local perspective finding some amazing abodes with some serious destination goals! When you think of the ultimate holiday in any Kenyan National Parks,  you’ll probably imagine a quiet and peaceful village where you would wake up to the calls of early morning local birds, feel the soft breeze & watch the wilds gazing around. Well, this is the Little Amanya Camp Amboseli which is tucked in the heart of Amboseli National Park which will provide just that. Here one can definitely embrace the wild vibes with a glimpse of Mt. Kilimanjaro from the tents itself! Instead of looking for Amboseli Hotels or Amboseli Lodges you can stay at this camp in the wilderness!!

Also it is fair to remember that you would be staying in a nature camp deep into the wilds and not in any luxury hotels, so a bit of compromise on few things wouldn’t hurt!

Many solo backpackers or group visit Amboseli National Park every year with the hope of watching the wilds in their natural habitats and also to experience the safari game drives. So it becomes really important to choose a perfect stay which is close by the park. So if you are planning a trip to Amboseli, and looking forward to a unique stay in budget, trust us you won’t regret booking it here.

About  Little Amanya Camp

Little Amanya Camptented camp is a newly launched camp, and is located less than a km away from the Amboseli National Park towards (Iremito Gate).

However it would take around 4-5 hours to reach from Nairobi and depending on traffic. We started early by 6am and reached by 11am sharp, however the roads are very comfortable apart from the last patch of rural roads. We drove our 4 wheel drive throughout the game park, however you can also book safari vehicles from local tour operators.

Note: As this camp is newly opened they have not placed proper sign boards and built roads yet, so make sure you to follow google map and reach Iremito Gate and then give a call to the contact person. They will show you the way from there. (still we got lost!!)  For any assistance call : +254113774699

You can book this camp also through Airbnb. You can use the this Airbnb link to book your stay and we would get a small credit at no additional cost to you! Search as Little Amanya Camp!! Thanks in advance.

All the tents have individual toilets (towels & toiletries provided), showers and outdoor sitting area available. However the tents are very spacious any highly maintained, even the beds were very comfortable. They also offer 24*7 room service for anything you would need. The staffs went ahead of their way to provide us with anything we wanted which is really praise worthy.

Room tariff- 100 – 200$ (per tent on full board)

Food & Dining

Little Amanya Camp offers full board packages as you won’t find any restaurants and food joints in that deserted land.

The chef was really great at his work. The foods were absolutely fantastic for every meal we had. The buffet had decent spreads (and not something lavish) comprising of local & continental cuisine. While you can also ask for your preferred food choice in particular beforehand if they can arrange it anyway.

Also on the opposite side of the dining there is a fire place where you can relax and unwind the day with gossip & wine.

NOTE : Make sure you don’t forget your woolens. It might be really freezing after the sunset.

2. Outdoor tub( hot water available)

3. Fireplace.
