- Homestays offer far more delicious food for breakfast lunch and dinner than you can find on the street. My homestay charged INR 300-400 per person for non-veg meals. Note the shops and restaurants open late and closes early. If you’re eating out, know most restaurants will be closed before 8pm.
- Don’t miss out trying the local Kiwi wine. Its definitely worth.
- Try the Luktir which is a very famous pickle made with chicken and sometimes pork meat.
- I literally dream about the food now, Thukpa is my all-time favorite dish from the Himalayas and yeah don’t miss trying the momo’s too, especially at Bomdila.
- You might not have phone signals at some remote areas and the GPS might suck at time. But you will be under network coverage in all the civilized areas.
- If you’re travelling during the winter months make sure to pack enough warm clothes, socks and comfortable shoes. Winter in Arunachal Pradesh might really get harsh.
