In Kogalla Sri Lanka, we learnt about the 'Stilt' fishing 🎣 and overall process seemed very interesting to us, as we never saw or heard something such before… 🤔 🙄 😲 So basically in the coasts the fishermen use an unique technique of fishing called the Stilt fishing. They climb and sit on a self-made vertical pole cross bar called the ‘petta’ which is placed inside few meters from the shore 🌊and waits⏳ until they catch a fish!! Interesting right?? Ok, so I too tried my hands and local fisherman helped me climbing it😉. I sat on the formation for all most 20mins ⏰but my effort was all in vain🤥. I had to climb down as my bum gave up and realized it wasn’t my cup of beverage ,☕😂but I was still happy with my effort !!👍 . . . The beaches of Koggala have some of the black rock formations where we mostly loved spending our time sunbasking🌞 and drinking coconut🥥 water and the days were just so fine & perfect🤗😍!!
