Vintage stay in Budget in Udaipur!!
We booked this hotel for 2 nights and was a memorable stay. We would definitely recommend to check out this place if you wish to plan your stay in beauty with budget. This property is approx. 21kms away from the airport and is extremely close to City Palace Udaipur facing Jag Niwas and Lake Pichola.
It’s an early 17th century haveli(mansion) with traditional Mewar architecture and design. The decoration, service and hospitality were just up to the marks. This hotel provides full board and half board service which you may avail as per your convenience.
What we enjoyed the most staying in this property are their corridor sitting arrangements with some amazing view. You can just slug on those couches doing nothing for the whole day. Unlike others they don’t have buffet breakfast rather it’s ala carte. Choose a corner of your choice and enjoy your meals overlooking Lake Pichola.
The City Palace is just a walking distance(1km) from this property so that’s an additional advantage. You might also find various food joints and shopping complexes in the same premises itself. The only drawback we found was finding this property for the very first time as its located in a narrow lane hence the taxis may not drop you till the entrance. So basically you need to rely on GPS for 10mins to find the exact location. But don’t worry, once you reach the place its quite easy to get familiar with roads and localities. Enjoy your stay!!
